The lifestyle groups I attend play hard too. There are plenty of light play parties. But, some can be very much on the edge. We are always set up for comforting aftercare with blankets and comforting reassurance. One group keeps hot chocolate on hand, which I love. It is a soft way to come back to earth. There are players who are energized by the experience and walk around the party naked, showing off their marks or piercings. They've been tended to, with alcohol applied applied, but no warm fuzzies for them. They are on fire. A few of my hardcore corporal friends have told me the emotional crash comes in the next day or two.
