By fact checking accounts, this is paraphrasing and not a direct quote. However, it was a message that he was very outspoken on.

This is coming from 1949. He certainly called that right. Even if there was regulation on the media, it wouldn't help. The Democrats are a part of it. The Republicans would be too, given the opportunity. It is a shame when the public, those of us who care to do it anyway, have to dig for the truth.
