I hear what you are saying and agree. But, there is no reasoning with someone who has allowed themselves to be swept into propaganda machine. Several friends of mine have become victims of the media mob. I don't talk to them about politics but I won't stop talking to them in general. Some of them have stopped talking to me and anyone else who they know are conservative voters. As much as it astonishes me that educated, accomplished people can be so unaware or uncaring of what is going on with our government, I won't stop being friendly with them. It is hard to look at them the same way, just like when the cashier at the gas station has a giant nose ring.
