This is spot on advise. I didn't think to mention that there are less expensive options, depending on what the piece is being used for. Kink.com's videos inspired me to have one of my very handy video slaves to make multi purpose equipment from steel piping and wooden platforms. It had a very dramatic but professional look. It was like having a box of Tinker Tots, if you are not too young to remember what those were.
