I don't like the pick either. And, it smells to high heaven that Ivanka and Jared made a fortune overseas when Trump was in office. They both had successful businesses that I'm pretty sure didn't include Trump before he got into office. So, I won't say there was definitely foul play but it isn't a good look.
As far as how Trump's presidency will work out, the best we can do is be patient and not ride the emotional roller coaster. Living every decision he makes, however big or small, is like going on a diet and weighing yourself every hour.
It would be nice to see him host a party or even and invite average Americans, like the widow of the man killed at his rally, as just one example. But, I'm trying to just sit back and let it play out. We probably won't really know how it is working out until 2 years in. There will be bumps in the road and some victories for this country. Thinking about all of this too much puts me in the mood for a Monty Python weekend. There are still a few I haven't seen. Hmmm...if my niece hasn't seen the Barbie movie, it would be fun to watch that again but with her this time. It is nice to forget the world and have a day or two of silly laughing and popcorn.
