Tack on that he was also involved in multiple lawsuits going and it isn't surprising someone wanted the guy dead. It could have been due to several different things. We'll probably find out eventually. It has been released that the words "Deny," "Depose," "Defend" were written on casings of the bullets, making it sound like the motivation was over a law suit or or stock fraud. The killer, obviously, knew the man's routine and where he would be. It was personal and not so much based on where it happened.
I have United Health Care insurance. It is a shell of what my Blue Cross/Blue Shield policy was, thanks to Obamacare. They charge premium rates for catastrophic level insurance. The will not cover preventive or diagnostic care. But, if you fall off your roof and break all of your bones, they've got you covered. Sadly, it is one of the limited options that self employed and small business owners have to choose from after ACA wrecked private insurance. If they treat their customers like this, imagine how they treat their employees and any partner they can roll over on. A noticeable number of care providers won't accept their coverage because they find ways not to pay out.
The multiple factors involved, doesn't have me happy the man was gunned down. He had two children at home. It does, however, have me hoping the assassin gets by with it. This man made a lot of enemies while bringing in 10 million a year for himself. So, who cares if Aunt Helen dies because she couldn't afford to pay for her own diagnostic care? Not United Health Care. If the company provided excellent insurance for a fair price, as Blue Shield did before ACA, those salaries would have been earned respectfully.
