Those who listening to radical rightwing news will tell you that Patal had just gotten into the position and should not be blamed. I can't believe that something that important would have not been brought to his attention the minute he stepped into the door to his new office. I don't know what to think about Bondi except that the letter was stellar and easily made public instead of a private email. I like that. Also, Patal is Bondi's subordinate who allegedly failed important and simple orders. He deserved to be called out publicly.
Not everything Trump does is going to perfect. He only had so many choices in qualified people to appoint. We should all be patient and see what this looks like with some time. Judging his every step seems exhausting and pointless. Maybe he'll be a horrible president. Maybe he will be great. But, the media machine dishing this out with fear mongering and embellishment (Outright lies sometimes) on a moment to moment basis is no one's friend.
