You seem to be agreeing with DJT that the ACA was not a good plan, most likely because it is too expensive for the United States Economy to afford, and would further jeopardize our mushrooming National Debt. Here's my few cents:
1. Healthcare is far too expensive, as is the insurance both to the insured and to the provider, but as I've shown a couple of times, the costs in the United States are WILDLY out of control (my wife's $6,000 Milan Hospital charge from MY WALLET for 8 days of intensive care, compared to my $75,000 charge in NJ for a 2 day relatively minor incident in a normal hospital room - - perhaps we could use some of the Socialism that rules in the places that I COINCIDENTALLY ran into in the countries that BETTER MANAGED their Healthcare!?
2. Trump did FAR MORE damage to the National Debt with his $2T tax cut for the well-off and his tariffs on Chinese manufactured goods that we import, than even the ACA could do.
3. As a well-trained Scientist who's published in technical journals in a half dozen countries worldwide, and interacted with HIGH-TECH staff in factories in 8 countries: My post-graduate 'GLOW' about "American Exceptionalism' is NOW totally faded.

Another tidbit about BIG PHARMA: Because of her Pulmonary Embolism episode in Milan, my wife is on the 'blood-thinner' Xarelto for life; in ONLY a decade the cost of her daily 20 mg. pill has gone up from $10 to its current $35 - - FWIW, it is one of the dozen drugs on Biden's 'hit-list'!

Between us AND former President Trump: 'Money doesn't grow on trees', but a lot more green has been ending up in Healthcare provider's wallets lately, MORE EVEN. today than yesterday!
