How can they get by with putting this out there as actual news? My primary residence is not far from Asheville. I know full well what local aid efforts are doing and how they are being shut down by Fema and ignored by local Democratic politicians. (The same ones they elected to office.) The federal government is claiming that Fema's funds are dwindled (They've been spent on foreign countries) and Obama's buddy, Axelrod is declaring that liberal voters will find a way to the polls while rural Trump supporters aren't capable. This is sick. The fact of the matter is that most aid is coming from local resources and the very people that Axelrod insults.
Asheville became a very liberal town, including welcoming Antifa hubs. But there are still people suffering there. The death toll is unknown. It is horrific. It isn't just Asheville that is in a very bad way. Parts of South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia took a hard hit too. When people are in this horrible situation, with little federal aid, the Democrats actually think that voting is the first thing on their mind? They are more concerned with how this tragedy will effect the election instead of getting aid to them?
As far as the dig on rural voters, Axelrod is clearly a city boy. People who choose to live in rural areas know how to survive and have the heart to aid their neighbors.
