Curious as to how much protocol you like incorporated in a session?
While I don't identify as a slave I enjoy being placed under a fairly extensive regime of rules and requirements during a session.
Things like speech restrictions or being limited to "Yes Mistress", "No Mistress", "Thank you Mistress"... waiting for the Domme on my knees with forehead on the floor, kissing the toes of her boots when she enters the room or not being allowed to stand erect but rather being required to crawl everywhere all serve to remind me of my position, her power over me and to set the tone of a session. I find these demonstrations of her control allow me to slip into the right head space for a session. This is especially true if I know that the slightest error or deviation will result in a punishment. Having lots of rules (all rigorously enforced) is central to the power exchange for me
