Does anyone know of who you'd recommend. I wouldn't mind driving out of it state if it wasn't too far.

Have you looked around on line? I'm not certain who is still in business and who isn't these days. I've heard glowing things about a mistress in North Carolina that actually does welding and has her own shop. If memory serves, she made a lot of equipment for Domina Snow's studio. I will get more information for you.

My friend and fellow poster, Tristin, knows a femdom lifestyler that had really nice welded dungeon pieces done. That is in the Houston area. I don't know what areas are you are looking to stay but will put out feelers with the people I know.

Metal Bound has nice looking quality equipment and furniture. The pieces I've seen have a modern, sleek look to them. I don't know anything about doing business with them the quality looks to be there from the little I've seen. I think they are in Fort Lauderdale. If you are interested in them I will ask my Mistress if she has any more information.

Here is an update, Mistress Mercer had a studio in Ashville, NC and has a place in Myrtle Beach. She lost everything in NC with the hurricane, including the shop where she did her welding. I've heard this second hand. I do not know here but we have mutual friends. Everyone I know thinks highly of her, both the quality of her equipment and sessions. Here is a link to her website

YesGoddess mentions Metal Bound in South Florida. Years back, I visited their shop and ordered custom equipment. The pieces they had on the floor were of quality and very ascetic. I wasn't impressed with the custom order, which was late or the customer service. That could be an isolated case. This was some years back. I don't know what you are looking for in equipment but, even though I can't rave about my experience, the quality of what they had in the shop was excellent, if the design is your cup of tea.

I haven't heard back from my friend in Dallas about the kink welder he knows yet.

Their website looks slick. Florida is not out of the realm for me to pick up equipment. As long as there are no hurricanes, taking a trip to Florida is nothing to complain about.

I'm late to the party here. I haven't been on line much lately. My suggestion is to email the websites you have pieces that you like and ask them where they had them made. When I shot for Kink.com I was in awe at their bondage equipment, some of it was the product of welding. Even surfing Dominatrix sites and asking them where they bought their pieces might be helpful. This is spot on advise. I didn't think to mention that there are less expensive options, depending on what the piece is being used for. Kink.com's videos inspired me to have one of my very handy video slaves to make multi purpose equipment from steel piping and wooden platforms. It had a very dramatic but professional look. It was like having a box of Tinker Tots, if you are not too young to remember what those were.

I know someone in Houston into kink with a full machine shop, welder included. Obviously welding a cage and transporting it would be pricey, but it's doable.

I've got a toy hauler and a Ford 350. Hauling equipment is not a problem for me. I've decided against Metal Bound. They are too expensive. If you have contact info or a link to their website, please pass it on.

As far as the equipment, I'd like to have a standing cbt/stockade that can be bolted to the floor. Imagine being bent over with your balls in a humbler or vice type device behind you and your head and wrists in a stockade. The ankles should be shackled too. I would like the welder to be kinky friendly so they take safety into consideration with the device. It isn't a position that you'd want to fall down in. I'm open to designs that the welder specializes in or what they may have already one.

First off Happy Thanksgiving weekend & Happy Holidays to all. With all the talk here about BDSM welder, it got me thinking that I do have a chain fetish.

A few years ago I bought and gave my Mistress a dog chain for me to wear and a leash. Most of the time when I pick her up to drive her to run errands, or when she sees me for play purposes, she immediately slaps me in the face, takes out the chain and orders, "PUT THIS ON!"
