I was glad to see that too. Penny has been dragged through hell and back. I hope the man can move on with his life without having recognition distract from opportunities.

I was happy to see that too. The not guilty verdict and the millions of dollars that rolled in for his defense fund should be a loud, clear message that people are not buying into the political lawfare. According to the leftwing media machine's ratings, a lot of us are fed up with their continual propaganda.

Because Penny is famous and in the news now.. Trump has to attach his name to everything and everybody famous now.. Just my opinion.

I like Trump but I am not going to bow down and worship the ground he walks on. He has ALWAYS made his money off of publicity for decades.

And no I dont like the fact that he has nominated half of the Fox News Networks hosts/contributers to cabinet/ambassador positions.

I dont like the Nepotism with several of his family members getting key roles, including his daughter in law, Jared Kushners father (a convicted felon).

I dont like that Trump back tracked the other day about getting food prices down after promising he would get them lower.

I dont like the fact that Trump claims he is "Make America First" when in reality he is Make Israel First"..

You see, I have a head and I can think for myself.

Like I said, no offense intended. It's clear from the way you post that you have a good head on your shoulders. That doesn't mean we agree on everything. Penny's appearance with Trump and friends publicly exonerated an innocent man that black racist mob tried to take down. That has my respect. The blue states have people in fear of defending themselves or protecting others. They have cops in fear of doing the right thing. That appearance was a loud and clear messages to dicks like Bragg.

No one is forcing people to purchase Trump's merchandise. There is a market for it so why not?

Eric Adams sat back and watched all the indictments against Trump and NEVER said a word. In fact Eric Adams said they would create a separate section of Rikers Island Prison for Trump. And now Trump is gonna pardon him? Wow.

It isn't reasonable to blame Trump because he was in a financial position, of his own self making, that the economy crash didn't harm him.

My prediction is that he will help the middle class. We won't like everything he does but, overall, I see a much better life for everyone.

We've got to let the tariff situation work out to see what will come of it. He wants the best result possible. He also has to work with what he's got. We don't know what is going on behind the scenes. He isn't even in office yet.

I don't care if his cabinet picks are from Fox News or Mars. All that should matter is if they can do a good job and he'll replace them if they don't. Think about this for a minute. If you were running the country, would you want two self made billionaires in charge of economic issues that could have a global impact or an every day business person? I'm a good business man with a company who runs payroll for up to 50 people at times, between employees and contractors. A close friend of mine owns started a pizza delivery, franchised it and has over 30 locations in multiple states. Do you people like us making paramount decisions or 2 self made billionaires with a global understanding of economics?

Eric Adams was a typical dimocrat flunky. Then he got a taste of how the polices were working and spoke out about it. Biden had him indicted. Adams still kept talking. He didn't back down. I've been expecting him to flip parties for a while now, regardless of who won the election. I've come to respect the man.

Trump will bucked, fought against from members of his own party and lied about in MSM. Look for more assignation attempts and not just on him. In the face of all of that, he will keep going. I have faith our country will be 100 times better off.

The economy crashed on purpose to get us....They knew it wouldnt affect Trump but also knew we were easy pickings because we supported Trump...(ie: They were getting even and showing us who was BOSS)

Everyday average people dont get these pardons....Only crooked Politicians or Corrupt White Collar criminals who stole Billions get them. (Ie: Trumps Pardon of Jared Kushners father for example)

We disagree on Trump's picks. He showed very bad judgement. The Apprentice pick, Omarosa, set out on day one to gather gossip on him. Time will tell on this term.

We disagree on Adams. He started out lock in step with the dims but had the courage to speak up. He stood by it knowing they were going to go after him. The man had a wake up call and didn't back down.

If the Biden base hadn't already come to terms with what a crook he showed himself to be, the recent slew of pardons would open their eyes. He might as well announced he was in bed with the crooks, like the one that sent kids, as young as 9, to lengthy sentences for petty theft. The base are idiots if they don't see it or care to know.

What's wrong with Walker in this role? He had a fairly close run for Governor a few years ago. He is charismatic and eager to have a position in the government. If this were the Ambassador to Russia or China, I'd be concerned. But, the Bahamas? I don't see a problem with that. It isn't unusual that someone with similar attributes be awarded a position like this. I have to question if we even need a designated Ambassador for the Bahamas. I found on line this position's salary is 200k. What do they really do? How could it possibly be a full time job?

We can't both criticize Trump for surrounding himself with backstabbers the first time and selecting loyalists in the second. I want to see him with an administration that is working with him instead of against him.

And what exactly are Walkers qualifications for any government position? Because he was a famous football player? Because he has been a long time friend of Trumps? Or because he is rich and famous? Personally, I dont like the allegations from his ex wife and girlfriend that he choked them, slammed them against a wall and put a gun to his girlfriends head... Walker basically admitted he had emotional problems when he did this..

But I keep forgetting that in todays society people get rewarded for shit like this...

People do get awarded for simply being in the camp. I don't like it either but it has been that way for decades. What can we do to change it? Sadly, nothing. I don't know if the allegations and admitted emotional problems are enough to disqualify him. I'd have to know the details. As for his qualifications, there doesn't appear to be many. Both parties have set a precedence of handing out cushy positions to the point that no one even thinks of opposing it.

As for you not saying anything here any more, that makes me sad. I like your input. People aren't going to agree on everything. We seem to be in agreement here though. I'm just more indifferent to gratuitous picks and positions.

I'm pissed off too. As Yes_Goddess said, I'm more qualified for that job! What could be better than making six figures and inspecting the beaches every week. The first thing I'd do is set up a program to give string bikinis and suntan oil to all female beach goers under the age of 25 years old. I'd do it under the guise of selecting models for enhancing tourism. American is generous with foreign aid. I could get that slipped through.
