Curious if anyone has any first hand experience with the Paul Scott BDSM gear such as the "Humiliator" gag system? I especially love the idea of the attachment point that locks a sub's face to a hard point on the floor or the wall. I've seen them featured on the sites of a few Dommes (Troy Orleans for one) but have never experienced one.

I had the pleasure of experiencing that gag while sessioning with MTO. I am a huge bondage lover and of course MTO is an incredibly talented and extremely well equipped bondage expert. I was standing upright in a very severe bondage hood and some other gear when she inserted the gag into my mouth and then attached the gag to the the the locking piece that had been attached to a beam that was part of her very elaborate bondage rig. It wasn't until I tired to turn my head did I become aware that it was now impossible for me to move my head in any direction up, down or sideways. I was in that position for some time and it became uncomfortably challenging, as MTO intended.

I think that gag would be one of the more extreme although I have not yet experienced it.

I've found that any restriction on the ability to move your head can add significantly to the feeling of helplessness when in heavy bondage.

I've read a couple of reviews of the Scott gag being used where the attachment point on the wall was positioned so it was too high to allow kneeling but too low for the sub to be able to stand fully upright. This forced the sub to bend at the waist or adopt an awkward crouching/partially squatting position either of which rapidly became uncomfortable. Was this your experience?

In one account the sub had his hands cuffed behind him and pulled up with a strap running to his collar. He was then caned with the only thing holding him in position being the gag locked to the wall.

I would think having a receiver mounted on the floor would also be very effective. I've been forced to kneel with my nose pressed against a red dot on the floor and not move but I would think literally having your head locked in that position would add tremendously to the experience. I always prefer being in bondage vs being ordered to hold a position while unrestrained.

I love bondage gear that is wickedly inventive and I think this qualifies.

That is some mouth gag. If you get one, please report back about how it worked out. My concern would be that it could be painful enough to kill the headspace.

Are you referring to the Paul Scott gag or the silentium from MEO that nysubjack posted about?

The Scott actually looks reasonably comfortable. I think any pain would come from the position you could be forced to hold.

The description of the silentium says the bars are textured and it grips the lips and tongue very well. (So it doesn't need to be cranked down hard). My only concern would be the weight and if the pull on your tongue and lips would get painful.
The silentium certainly looks like it might be extremely effective if nothing else!

The gag attachment was definitely challenging. You are correct that it added significantly to how restrictive the already heavy bondage was. My arms were encased in a leather sleeve behind my back that was tightly laced up and then tied off to another part of the bondage frame. However, I was not squating to much as you describe, I was close to pretty much standing up straight. MTO has a well deserved reputation in all things bondage. I think we played for 3 hours for that session and she expertly moved me through several very challenging bondage scenarios.
