I watched the first two seasons. I started losing interest in season three. The writers aren't afraid to go dark and gory, a little too much for my taste. But, it is a good series with creative writers.
You hot wing analogy sums it up. Order the mild wings one day on a whim and within a year, it is full on breathing fire.
