That is alarming. CT is such a blue state. Perhaps, they are concerned about eventually losing left states? In the Obama/Romney election, I voted in South Florida. It was chaos. The poll workers, who looked to be retired volunteers with no hidden agenda, were overwhelmed. A large number of people, myself included, couldn't be found on the registered list. Poll workers were constantly on the phone with their HQ trying to verify registration. Then, the machine kept spitting out the ballots. Finally, they started collecting them in huge stacks and said they'd have to be entered by hand. This was an area that usually leans left. So, it didn't feel as if it was motivated to sway the results...just complete incompetency from whoever was in charge at a state level.

I'm with you on not voting straight down the line. Sometimes I vote for a Republican that I don't like at all because it is the lesser of the two evils. It was hard as heck to vote for Rick Scott and Rubio.
