I don't know much about Scott except for what has been shared here. Is there someone you would have suggested instead? It has all become such a joke.

Here is my suggestion...Trump should just arrest every member of congress and become a Dictator.....
Give me one good reason why we need any member of Congress...
These people have NEVER "worked for the people" in fact they all work against the people...
I could see them all killing Trump by a thousand paper cuts the same as they did last time....Some of the names and faces may have changed (ie: no more McConnell or Romney) but their game still remains the same....They are all out for themselves at our expense...
So intead of McConnell you will get one of his henchmen Thume or Coryn....And Scott seems pathetic too.

People have short memories. Republicans had control of all 3 branches of Government in 2016 too. All the GOP backstabbers did was screw Trump over every chance they got....

The Mike Johnson has to go...He cannot be reelected as House Speaker....He was literally campaining for people who voted for Trumps impeachment....
