My point that Trump was self made before entering Washington, wasn't about how or his deserving the boyscout's medal of honor. He didn't go to DC to enrich himself like the career politicians that go in with a networth in the mid six figures and come out with, at least, one zero behind. It is For whatever reason, the same with Musk.
Do you really care if he is into beautiful women? Personally, I didn't find his first wife that attractive. But, so what? I don't care what the motivation is behind Trump or Musk. I care about the results for the American people. For whatever reason they may have, I believe their goal is to make this country as good as it can be. Is this out of ego and and pride? Are they bored and want a new venture to conquer? Do they crave attention? Does Musk want to have another dozen children and set their wives up in mansions? I don't really care. I just want our country straightened out.
Additionally, I hate some of the things that Trump did in his first term. Operation Warp Speed was horrible. Not having the gain of function shut down and Faucci fired before it could happen was catastrophic. Putting a socialite in charge of education who proceeded to ignore the needs of inner city youth was a big disappointment. The list goes on. But, like you, when I line it up with what could have been, I'd take the whole package 10 times over.
