There is no excuse for Johnson not being ousted. What is it with the revolving SOTH door with Republicans?
There is a good reason for the H-1B visas. If it was managed as the law was written, it wouldn't be problem. There was supposed to be sixty five thousand allowed in with an additional twenty thousand who have a masters degree or higher. The number allowed in was eight hundred thousand instead. The lottery system is contradicts the very premise of the program being for the best and brightest. Someone pulled Elon back on. I say reform the program to what it should be and fire the people who let it get out of hand. I am happy that it is being talked about now. Perhaps it wasn't so bad that Elon pulled a crazy. It brought light to the situation.
Elon DID NOT pull back on it. He wants more. And that is 800,000 less jobs for Americans with this program.
And this whole line about how we don't have a good educational system particularly on the College level is total bullshit. I actually cant believe how many people on this board alone who have repeated (fell for) that line..(I won't name names)
Does anyone actually believe that Europe, Asia and India have better College systems? Its a lie. I went through our American College System all the way through law school and had no problems...
In fact many of these H-1B Visa jobs are going to foreigners who went to our college system while on student visas....So they were in the SAME classrooms and colleges as the American kids. They are allowed to stay here and work on this temporary Visa program. And they do so for a lot less money than the American worker...That's why these companies love this program... Its modern day slave labor...

I would argue that besides the POTUS the Speaker has the most powerful position in Washington...All of this inflation is NOT just because of Biden its also because Mike Johnson did this too...Nothing got done without Mike Johnsons approval.... So he caused this...

I haven't even mentioned Elon Musk's two gigantic factories in China for Tesla....Staffed by Chinese workers.....How is this bringing American Jobs back home for Americans? It is the exact opposite of what Trump has been yelling about in his Carnival Barks the last ten years..
People have totally underestimated Musk's influence on Trump which will hurt the American people....I believe Trump was bought off by the 200 million Musk donated to him....
