I usually don't watch videos (they are usually boring or cheap shots) and I generally get my impressions from the reactions to them.
I mostly get those impressions from right leaning sources and they (as well as posters here) were impressed by Trump and Vance in this encounter.
The comments here indicate Trump and Vance showed strength and did a great job at slapping down Zelenski.
So I watched the video to enjoy confirmation of my impressions and expectations.
I was disappointed.
Trump was going on with his card analogy, ranting about feelings, and putting forth his frustration about the despicable actions of Americans.
Vance was going off looking for a thank-you card.
They both seemed like they were playing to the televised audience rather than having a diplomatic discussion.
I was disappointed with both of them.
Yes Trump and Vance were both playing to the audience and yes it was an ambush.....But it this case I don't care...I am glad they humiliated him in front of the world......Trump is 100% correct on everything he said regarding this matter....I was also VERY impressed that Vance had his back big time. (And you know I didn't want/like Vance from the beginning)
I have done my own research on Zelenski and Ukraine and I can tell you straight out that both are corrupt to the core....
The only thing I am disappointed about is that instead of literally throwing him out of the White House they should have arrested this little murdering dictator right on the spot....
Eventually, either one of two things are going to happen..
1. His own countryman are going to execute Zelenski
Or.
2. Zelenski and his wife will flee somewhere with Billions of our tax dollars in his pockets.....
Trump should just make a deal with Putin to split up Ukraine 50/50..

I don't care who you are or who the POTUS is...You don't EVER show up to the White House NOT wearing a suit and tie...Under any circumstances do you dress like a bum especially if you are a "President"
Of a foreign country....
I wear sweats around the house 24/7 myself but I wouldn't dream of showing up to the White House looking like Zelenski did...Even if I was invited to meet Biden I would still dress up for God's sake..
