"Israel turned an undesirable sliver of land (without oil) into a flourishing state"

Correction: They kicked the people who were already on that land off that land by force...Including burning them out of their homes...

Re: Israel's "flourishing state"

Here are the facts:

Poverty Rate:
In 2023, 20.7% of the Israeli population lived in poverty, with 27.9% of children living below the poverty line.

OECD Ranking:
Israel has a high poverty rate compared to other developed countries, ranking second-worst in the OECD after Costa Rica.

Vulnerable Groups:
Arab and ultra-Orthodox communities, as well as single mothers, the elderly, and those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, are particularly affected by poverty.

Economic Challenges:
The Israeli economy faces challenges like income inequality and rising poverty, which are exacerbated by factors like the cost of living and the impact of economic crises.

Recent Data:
In 2023, 2 million Israelis lived below the poverty line, including 872,000 children.

Latet's Report:
A report from Latet found that 28.7% of the population lives below the poverty line, with 39.6% of children living in poverty.

Middle Class Erosion:
The economic crisis has led to the erosion of the middle class, with many families at risk of falling into poverty.

Geographic Disparities:
Areas in the Jerusalem district and the northern and southern parts of the country have the most serious poverty problems.

Lack of Employment Opportunities:
Lack of employment opportunities, particularly good employment, and low levels of education in Arab-Palestinian society, are factors that keep families in poverty. (Ie: Israel practices discrimination against the Arab-Palastinan people)

Barriers to Employment:
Geographic peripherality, lack of appropriate public transportation, and lack of daycare systems for children are barriers that prevent people from accessing employment opportunities.

Cost of Living:
Israel is one of the most expensive countries in the world, with a particularly high cost of living in cities like Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Herzliya.

Homelessness:
While homelessness is not as prevalent as in other developed nations, it is still a problem in Israel.

Food Insecurity:
One in four Israelis now faces food insecurity.

Re: My "criticism of the source"

Well I have seen the videos and pictures of hundreds of dead Palestinian children caused by Israeli bombs.. Videos don't lie.

"If Israel knew exactly where Hamas was hiding then they wouldn't have suffered the expense and military casualties"

Sure they would have.... That is right, I am suggesting that Israel doesn't give a shit about their own soldiers either. Just like the American government doesn't give a shit about our soldiers. Does Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan ring a bell?....

As for the expense, what does Israel give a shit about that for since the STUPID American Taxpayer pays for most of the military and security anyways....

Netanyahu is coming here AGAIN next week to grift/beg for some more money from us....And that Trump fella will be sure to give him what he wants...

Trump wants those new Trump Towers, Casinos and Golf courses bad....

He will probably put Jarret Kushner in charge of the construction..
