Not wanting to hijack the original thread, something has come to mind as I read and re-read the depictions of "Your Version of Aftercare" in the past couple of days. Here goes: maybe posting our memories and recollections of sessions over the years is another version of Aftercare?

I'm speaking as a person whose experience has been through professional sessions - not play parties or lifestyle. (Although I did form several friendships - more like friendly "best client" - relationships over the years. And those were the people who I discussed the scene in general and my kinks, in particular.) The overwhelming majority of those professionals I have seen have dropped out of the scene, passed away or disappeared. As I've gotten older, especially the past few years, the memories of these intense experiences with talented and beautiful dominant women in sessions have come back to me. I posted on MF, now here and domina.ms, I guess, to see how much the same or different, I am than other males who have served dominant women. I've also taken a couple of online tests recently (Yes, I'm a sub!) out of curiosity.

I realize now that I post my experiences or thoughts on the scene, hoping it will help fellow subs and the Mistresses today. I can also acknowledge now I do it as therapy, which I guess is cheaper than going to a therapist, which is Aftercare. Isn't it?

It is why I post on forums. It is pre care, post care and after care. I never looked at it that way before.
