I say to myself why that guy/s was allowed to crawl up on that roof after being told by the witness that someone crawled on the roof with a rifle....And WHY wasn't the roof and building secured in the first place?.....Especially since it was only 150 yards away from the stage....

In my book the Secret Service DID NOTHING until after the fact...

It is being claimed that Mayorkas denied repeated requests for additional security for Trump. It is understandable they killed the shooter but it would have been nice to keep him alive and get some answers.

Beyond the rally, some house Democrats had been trying to pass legislation that would have stripped Trump of his Secret Service protection. It didn't pass. They obviously want Trump dead. The goal for a while was strip him of security and throw him in prison. If the allegations about Mayorkas are true, the WH has some explaining to do.

A question does come to mind, if the government was behind an assassination attempt, would the shooter have missed? Would there have been just one?

The Secrete Service was standing around with binoculars but didn't notice a man scaling up a building with a rifle? It was less than 200 feet away! What a dumb ass shooter. He got his head blown off at 20 years old and for what? Then CNN condemns Trump for standing up and saying fight after he nearly got his head blown off. They said it would have been better if he talked about tampering down political division. The bullet missed killing Trump by an inch or so. He didn't know who in the crowd at been injured. He's being escorted off the stage covered in blood. CNN found a way to use that against him. Anyone who believes that BS is a dumb fuck.

He is a murderer who should hang. He has personally let millions of criminals walk across that border....He should not even be allowed a trial, just arrest him then hang him. It's the only way to deal with these people and you CANNOT vote your way out of this....

There is also no way no how a person gets off 8 shots....I can see 1 or maybe 2 shots but NOT 8.

Do you know how many assassinations against foreign heads of state our government has committed? A lot. The average "professional" shooter is only good the 150m - 175m which the range in this case. He did not have good ammunition.

If the government was involved, the shooter would not have used a AR-15!

I used a service rifle that was a lot better. I know shooters who did not enter competitions until the range was OVER 1000 yards.

Trumpeteers? Are you into division much? People don't want to see their candidate murdered and you make fun of them. I don't really give an F who is in office because they all work together. Trashing people for who they support is part of the problem, not the solution.

It is tragic for the nation that this happened. I am glad that Trump survived. Now, the person who died and those who were wounded need to be mentioned with the same respect. Equal respect for everyone injured or endangered should come to be.

Maybe they are waiting to identify and talk to the families.

There is zero reason for buildings 130 yards away not to have been secured, zero reason for security to ignore multiple at warnings that an armed man was scaling one of the buildings and zero reason to have previously tried to strip him from protection at all. It has been alleged that the Biden administration was asked, multiple times, for more security but continually denied it. The latter has not been confirmed.

As for belittling people who vote differently than you, that is lame. You should make a list of policy issues instead you differ on instead of going after people for a candidate they support. It isn't personal. The Democrats are trying, to desperate measures, to make it that way. Talk about policies and issues that affect the daily lives of the everyday tax payer.

An AR-15 with good ammunition can easily hit targets up to 800 yards.....With crappy ammunition it could still easily hit targets up to 600 yards......The distance between that rooftop and Trump was about 130-150 yards tops.....And it was a direct line of site...(ie: an easy Turkey shoot)

That is a good article that you won't see in MSM. Think about the hate speech Democrats engage in on a regular basis. It has become normal to hear high ranking officials refer to Trump as Hitler. Members of the media talk about the certainty of Trump putting people in concentration camps and being a threat to the country. There have been calls for violence from Maxine Waters, Adam Schiff. Chuck Schumer, just to name a few. Bumbling Biden said it was time to put the bullseye on Trump. That could have been a gaffe. But what a gaffe that was. The hate speech needs to end. Rationally minded people can see their way through the rhetoric. The people instigating the narratives need to remember that there is a good share of mentally unstable people in the world who cannot.
