....if their child has chosen another pronoun or is identifying as the opposite gender. I don't believe the schools should be required to notify the parents or that it is even their responsibility. But, to ban them from telling the parents if they feel it is important to do so, for whatever reason?

There has been documented cases of California removing children from the home because their parents wanted to seek counseling instead of putting them on the path for sex reassignment surgery. How can the left call Trump a dictator when they are the ones striving to strip even our most precious rights?

The decision about whether it is appropriate to contact the parent should be made by the educators. It is probably a passing phase for many. Some may be struggling with emotional health issues. Not all children are the same. The government should not make blanket judgements. Growing up between bi and gay was not something I can tell you it isn't one size fits all.

Newsome is the worst. I think he's the worst governor in the entire USA. Just my opinion.
