This is being touted as a win for Trump. But, I see it as a win for the country. If states can declare someone guilty of a crime they've never even been charged with and remove them from a ballot, that is dangerous territory.

This is true but Don't underestimate how corrupt our government is. This 9-0 decision was a no brainer because this was clearly written that "only congress can remove a candidate"...

Ie: If any justice voted no then they would have looked like an idiot......

I think the 9 justices are really trying to play a fast one with the American people by saying "look at us and how we can all agree".....

But the truth is that they might screw him big time in that immunity case......

They passed the buck on this one. Every few years the congress and senate flip. I wouldn't want to see the GOP doing this to the DNC any more than what is going on now. John Adams and George Washington warned about a 2 party government and rallied against it. They were right.

The immediate problem is that the Speaker of the House clearly stated he wants to create a Theocracy and the presumptive nominee of the GOP for the presidency has clearly stated he wants to create a Autocracy with requisite retributions and purges.

Both of these are prohibited by the Constitution of the United States. The document to which these gentlemen have sworn to uphold and the document they both wish to trash.

According the Ancestry I have ancestors who are involved.
Two of my great grandfathers were incinerated by my 1st cousin Queen Mary I, aka Bloody Mary, for being protestants. Although, I believe won of them was selected because he was a religious nut job. More specifically he was a Puritan Archbishop.
This persecution is why the framers of the US Constitution separated Church and State.

The US Constitution obstructs the grand schemes of these guys. So out it goes!

"Bloody" Donald I here we come.

To err is human, or in the case of Texas, Alabama et al - To err is inhuman.
Not to mention the absence of equal justice.

It just a reminder when you throw out the constitution, you throw out ALL of the amendments to.
No Constitution means there is no need for the US Supreme Court.
At this point it seems that elections would tend to interfere, so no need for congress and the senate...
Actually with no constitution there are no elections, supreme court, congress and senate.
