I read about this and how the governor is concerned that Trump will put an end to the tax. How he would do that from a federal level, I don't know. But, it has been a discussion.
Have you heard about the proposed tax hike in Chicago? Many of the locals showed up at a meeting and confronted the mayor about it. They were furious. Black residents in MAGA hats voicing their protest to the tax hike should be a wake up call to the Democrats. Most of the conversation was about putting the residents first, above the illegals the Biden admin invited into the country.
Combine all of this with counties, like Miami Dade and cities like Deerfield Michigan, that have a heavy legal immigration population, voting conservative last election and, the Democrats scheme is blowing up in their faces.
Yes I have been following Chicago too. I saw the videos of those Black taxpayers destroying that disgusting mayor...And its ALL about these Illegals eating up their money too...Its happening everywhere...

This NYC toll is going to destroy NYC businesses. Places like China Town, Little Italy and the Village are going to suffer. Those are heavy tourist spots...
