I usually stay away from discussing hit pieces but this one happens to hit my buttons. What you don't know, and need to know, about Pam BondiFTA: [In George Zimmerman's trial,] the four special prosecutors argued emotion and racial strife, while the defense argued the evidence and law. Prosecution witnesses supported the defense(!) and the defense constantly brought out facts and evidence prosecutors tried to hide from the jury. [...snip...] Why does a case 12 years past matter now? Because Pam Bondi, then Florida’s Attorney General, is Donald Trump’s nominee for US Attorney General.
Knowing it was a case of self-defense, she appointed a corrupt special prosecutor and arranged for two biased, corrupt judges — one was so obvious he was disqualified -- who did their best to convict Zimmerman. She enabled the race hustlers that destroyed George Zimmerman’s life and plunged America into a racial morass from which it has not yet recovered. At the time, she basked in that destructive glory.

What should really "Hit your buttons" is that Pam Bondi is a HIGHLY PAID Lobbiest....Her job was representing corporations from FOREIGN Governnents against the United States...
Trump made another horrible pick... He will never learn..
Sometimes I wonder why I waste my time discussing politics here...Its not like I am making shit up...
And the only reason people like what she says on tv is because she is paid to say good things about Trump....
She is trouble with a capital T. In my opinion..She is the swamp...
Btw,
You should never ever trust anyone associated with a lobbying company/organization....These are the people who have destroyed this country for their own gain....
Practically every single congress person is owned by these lobby organizations.
I just cant understand why people continually allow themselves to be influenced by the media....

You know I disagree with you about Zimmerman. The guy is unhinged and his irresponsible actions provoked the entire situation with Martin. If there was any doubt about his character, he put that to rest with his behaviors following the court case. I have no pity for the man who I feel is a monster. This being said, there is no doubt the race card was played when there was zero indication that it was a factor at all. It was a shameful exploitation of a young man's death. I know you feel strongly otherwise. So, there is no reason for us to have the debate again.
Pam Bondi, most litigation attorneys and politicians are dishonest and seek out only their best interest. A good, long term client and friend, who was a highly successful attorney put it to me well, "Only a true sociopath enjoys litigation law." He walked away from a great deal of money to retire early. As successful as he was, including a stint as a state AG as a young man, he felt his job was eating him alive. My point being, Trump has the pool of people to pick from that he does.

"Only a true sociopath enjoys litigation"
I dont know about that... But it can eat you alive if you are not good at it.. Or if you are working for the state as an AG or public defender...
Thats why I chose real estate and probate law. No pressure and it pays well.. There are many different areas of law to get into..
But honestly, I dont think it means you are a sociopath, I think it means you are competive.. Its all like a contest..
Personally, I think I could kick the snot out of most "litigation" lawyers I met. If I wanted to...The reason is because I have very little respect for them...Plus I think I have or could out read them if I wanted to..
Some of these people were in my classes and we all read the same books..

His experience as an AG was in his youth. From there it was business law. It was McDonalds lead attorney at some point before starting his own practice. I've also had experience with attorneys and believe most of them to be terrible people. Estate attorneys in South Florida are crooks and probably because there is so much money due to wealthy people retiring there. I'm sure you are the exception in estate law. The attorney who did my will & trusts in Tennessee was great, as was my mother's in Ohio. But, those looking to take a sizable sum from the estate by way of fiduciary and get into litigation when family members are fighting over money...it is a dirty business in some areas.
In litigation, I strongly believe that most attorneys do not care if what they say and do is ethical. This doesn't make me an expert but most of clients in Columbus, Ohio were attorneys. Some of them were high powered, top of the totem pole attorneys in their field. It was interesting to have the inside scoop when my ex husband and his new wife tried and failed, miserably, to take custody of my children from me. It was all over her discovery of my occupation in femdom and her religious beliefs. It is a long saga that lasted for three years! It cost my ex over 100k and this was 25 years ago dollars. My attorney eventually raped me...literally. A friend of mine, who was a senior partner at a law firm at the time, stepped in as did another professional who was on the case, and guided me toward an attorney I could trust who...to this day, is the best family law attorney in Ohio's tri state area. Within a week, the former attorney sent all of the money I had given him back and paid the retainer for my new attorney. The magistrate recused herself from hearing any of my ex husband's attorney's cases because she said it would be unfair to his clients. She would not believe anything he said ever again. Sorry about all of the drama...but, I've seen the worst from the law profession and it doesn't stop there. To this day, I have nightmares about that man and hate myself that I couldn't go through the process of getting him disbarred. I had to let it go and move on. Look at Michael Avenatti...every line of legal practice has predators.
I'm happy to hear that you practice ethically. It doesn't surprise me a bit. You are obviously an honest man. But, don't overate your colleagues.

In CT. I have a set fee for drawing up wills. I usually have a set fee for closings unless there are complications....
For probate or contested wills I will charge by the hour the standard rates...
I wont charge the taxpayers $50 million dollars like Jack Smith charged us in his phoney case against Trump...
And I dont do divorces or child custody hearings. Those Fuckers are thieves...
For the record, if anyone wants to do their own home closing its not that hard... But it does take time...
As far as litigation and trial attorneys go...All I am saying is that I am not intimidated by them....
Btw,
I recently just buried some sleezeball Probate Attorney in Florida who tried to collect a fee from me for my deceased fathers Florida Home...
You see my sister hired this clown to do the Probate work in Florida without my knowledge. She owed him $1500 and this shitbag tried to ask me to pay for it....
Long story short.. I told this creep if he ever dared to call me or email me a bill again I will contact the Florida Bar Association and the police department. You are Harrassing me... I told him that I didnt hire you my sister did. So get lost... He never called or wrote me again...
For the record, my sister is an idiot for hiring an outside attorney. Neither of us live in Florida but she figured we need an attorney in Florida...
And of course she didnt give him his $1500 but figured he could get it from me. Well he was wrong.

I'm glad you got off with a scum bag trying to take $1,500. from you. My experience with South Florida estate attorneys were far worse. My late husband's children had a fiduciary, who had a great reputation, but was obviously in cognitive decline end up giving us $250k to make up for the mistakes that he made. He cost us so much money. We had to sign a non disclosure with him. My son in law is a very talented estate attorney but felt uncomfortable handling Jack's will. So, hiring it out was a mess. The legal fees were crazy and then the accountant left the firm and the taxes were late. The IRS owes still me 23k that I will never see without hiring a tax attorney. Even then, it is a gamble.
The attorney who did Jack's estate planning made huge mistakes in the will before all of that. Jack's children actually hired another firm to deposition the guy. I almost lost a house over it! It was my best friend, who is a business and diesel engineer major who found the error! It took a minute for his kids to realize that I knew nothing of his botch job. I still want to file a bar complaint against the original attorney, against the doof. But, again, once going through a traumatic even, all I could to do is leave it behind.
Then there are criminal attorneys who drag cases on, knowing they will plead everyone out. I've seen this happen to young people with non serious charges they should have never fought to begin with but got egged on by the greedy attorney. Scum bags. They have an associate show up for a hearing date, knowing full well they will ask for a continuance and bill the client for the time, as many times as possible.
Being a skilled attorney, as you are, is one of the best things you can do for self protection. I respect that you have a different view on this. But, in my experience, most attorneys are scum bags. Certainly not all are. I know some good ones. When I was in my 30's, I was engaged to and living with a Senior partner of a law firm who was a fantastic man. He was absolutely ethical. Even after we broke up, we stayed good friends. He is another one who retired early because litigation law was wearing on him.
So, all of that to say, if Pam Bondi is a typical self serving, do what she's paid to do type of attorney, non of us should be surprised. Most of them are prostitutes. For a hire hourly rate, they will do whatever their client wants.

...there is no doubt the race card was played when there was zero indication that it was a factor at all. The race hustlers used the MSM to make it a factor. All of the evidence supported Zimmerman's account. Professional law enforcement verified his account and closed the case. Then the race baiters stepped in. In order to reopen the case, they had to claim Martin was profiled. They did so and enlisted the MSM to paint Martin as a saintly child and Zimmerman as a racist vigilante. They convinced millions and they held rallies or memorials with hoodies as a symbol of racial profiling. Many went to these events so show support for this "innocent child" and in doing so, they contributed to cementing the relationship of blacks to hoodies as solidly as southern whites did with watermelons. Because they sold this narrative, political pressure allowed charges to be brought against Zimmerman based on emotion, not facts. I'll repeat the part of the quote that set me off: Knowing it was a case of self-defense, she [Pam Bondi] appointed a corrupt special prosecutor and arranged for two biased, corrupt judges — one was so obvious he was disqualified -- who did their best to convict Zimmerman. She enabled the race hustlers that destroyed George Zimmerman’s life and plunged America into a racial morass from which it has not yet recovered. At the time, she basked in that destructive glory. It's important because it laid the groundwork for repeat performances (e.g. Michael Brown, George Floyd).

At least she's better looking than Gaetz. Not a plus for me. I feel better when I have negative feelings toward men or ugly women. Jane Fonda hits both ends hardest with outstanding looks/sex appeal and vile actions.

Jane Fonda hits both ends hardest with outstanding looks/sex appeal and vile actions. She is still spewing vile rhetoric. She is certifiably bonkers. In her younger days, if she had shown up in my bedroom, I wouldn't have turned her down. I could have blocked out the political derangement for three minutes.

It depends on the situation and the young lady. Fonda, in her early years, would have gotten the macho three minutes and a cab ride home.

I watched Barefoot in the Park when it came out. I was smitten. I would have carried her home.
