I heard a piece of possible information today... I wonder how everyone here, specifically Trump supporters (like myself) would feel if he pardons Hunter Biden? I heard that there is a very real chance Trump will pardon this treasonous monster....

They are lining up to kiss his ring. It is probably out of self preservation. He should listen to what they have to say. It is his job. I don't take this as a sell. There has to be a weird reason if he pardons Hunter. Wouldn't it be something if Hunter ends up testifying against people to expose corruption? His dad is a few steps away from being brain dead. Nothing will fall back on Joe. It is only a guess but Trump will be getting something out of the pardon.

I think he is just trying to get along and allow the American people see how insincere the "Trump is hitler," hoax was. No one invites a person they believe to the second coming of hitler to chat with them in front of a cozy fireplace and welcome them back into office with a smile. No one requests a meeting with murderous monster and talks about how friendly he was. It is hilarious watching these people kiss up to him. It reveals them all to be the liars that they are.

But Trump does NOT have a good track record of picking the right people or associating with the right people....

I can't argue with anything you've said. There will be bad picks this time around too. Hopefully, not nearly as many. Who is the mooch, by the way? Is that in regard to Christi? That man is the worst. To think that I used to like....many moons ago.

When it comes to meeting with powerful people, I don't blame him. I would like to see him engage with everyday people, like Pastor Brooks of Project Hood, as just one example. I'm so hoping the Secretary of Education does a good job. DeVos got by with being a dud, stabbed him the back and had the nerve to ask for another chance when he was elected.

Time will tell. My prediction, for whatever it is worth, is that his picks will tremendously better performing than last time. They will still be some that turn out to be cringe worthy.

I'm disgusted with that appointment too. While we aren't going to like every pick, we've got to see how it all pans out. There will be Kennedy and Musk to speak up. Trump has also said the covid vax shouldn't be pushed on anyone. If Trump gets vax happy, he'll lose a lot of base and come members of his cabinet. Maybe the SG pick has come to see the truth surrounding covid and the dangerous "Vaccination." A lot of people are opening their eyes to how much they've been lied to.

I understand where you coming from, and I do not blame you for feeling that way. Without a doubt, it seems as though politics follow a major leagesmanship with the elephantine players for the most part. You can’t help feel that some leaders, irrespective of the party they belong to, always find their way to accommodate the influential and the affluent. As for the potential pardon, that would definitely be a tough one for many of Trump’s supporters to take, especially when some of the accusations made against Hunter Biden are quite personal. But in the end these conditions always appear a lot more complicated than one would initially think.

The problem with trump is he’s known to be difficult to work for and so a lot of good people do not want to work for him so he hires people he can get including from Fox News. Trump comes from the business world and doesn’t have the connections to people in government like your normal politician. I don’t think this is necessarily bad either. I’m satisfied with his picks. Let’s see what they do.

I’m hoping he moves a lot of these federal agencies away from Washington and cleans out the deep state that’s been working against him. He can’t run for reelection and imo doesn’t care about the Republican Party so he’s got nothing to lose now. I don’t think he’s going to pardon hunter either I think Joe will do that as a big fu to the American people and the democratic establishment who pushed him out. What does Joe care now. The Biden’s are rich and his legacy is shot. He’s an ex president who sadly will live out his remaining years in in comfort with secret service protection for him and his family.

I don't like the pick either. And, it smells to high heaven that Ivanka and Jared made a fortune overseas when Trump was in office. They both had successful businesses that I'm pretty sure didn't include Trump before he got into office. So, I won't say there was definitely foul play but it isn't a good look.

As far as how Trump's presidency will work out, the best we can do is be patient and not ride the emotional roller coaster. Living every decision he makes, however big or small, is like going on a diet and weighing yourself every hour.

It would be nice to see him host a party or even and invite average Americans, like the widow of the man killed at his rally, as just one example. But, I'm trying to just sit back and let it play out. We probably won't really know how it is working out until 2 years in. There will be bumps in the road and some victories for this country. Thinking about all of this too much puts me in the mood for a Monty Python weekend. There are still a few I haven't seen. Hmmm...if my niece hasn't seen the Barbie movie, it would be fun to watch that again but with her this time. It is nice to forget the world and have a day or two of silly laughing and popcorn.

Both of the Clintons were disbarred. It seems to be a thing with politicians. I don't know anything about Kushner's father. As far as him being a convicted felon, by law, so is Trump. It is game that we the elite play with each other.

Ivanka and her husband receiving a lucrative contract in Saudi Arabia, they had businesses that provided actual services and goods long before Trump ran for office. It sounds more of a case of nepotism than quid pro quo. That doesn't make it right but either does someone's brother getting hired by the fire department because he they went to high school together. Look at how they went after Trump over trivial details. If there was anything close to fraud, it would be more than mentions of it in MSM.

The warp speed vaccination was a dreadfully wrong action for Trump to take. Keeping Fauci on was irresponsible. I read that he wanted to replace him before Covid19 came about but was advised not to. Now, Fauci is coming out swinging against the Trump administration. It is mess that we all to live or die, as the situation may be, with.

I don't regret my vote for Trump. There was no other choice.

You make good points, except, what does it matter who Trump wants to spend personal time with? He was born into affluence. It is what he knows. I'd be a fish out of water at a shin dig like that. Spending time with family and friends, even the assholes in the bunch, is what what I know and want. The importance is for the everyday guy to look back 4 years from now and know their life is better than it was the 4 previous ones.

Trump did host Cory Comperatore's family for dinner at Mar-a-Lago. It didn't get much press but it happened.
