Can anyone help me with this problem? I have had a separate yahoo email for years that I use for contacting Dommes and scheduling sessions. Recently yahoo logged me off and now wants to send a verification link to my backup email which is an Outlook email. The problem is my backup Outlook email does not seem to be receiving new mail or the new emails are not showing up in my inbox and I have checked the spam folder. I cannot find any other way to get into my Yahoo email. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I'm no expert but here are my suggestions.

1. Long story but try to go to one of the Microsoft chat rooms for a solution. In a recent incident with Microsoft - and Outlook - I was told I needed more memory since I opted out of using its cloud service. The sales pitch has come again that I've "run out of memory." My suggestion is buy memory for a month, see if the yahoo email is there, and then drop Outlook as a backup email.

2. My long term suggestion would be to get out of Outlook as a backup - and Yahoo also - and go with Proton Mail for your session email. If needed get another free email, Gmail from Google for instance.

Good luck!

Thanks. Can you tell me where the Microsoft chat rooms can be found? I’d consider buying memory if it wasn’t too expensive but how do I do that?

Thanks. I searched and messed around with this for a couple hours and cannot get anywhere. I just go in circles. I am not very tech savvy. They want my phone number to verify and I don’t want to give that to them. Or an alternate email which I don’t have since I’m locked out of Yahoo. I think I am just out of luck with this.

Have you tried logging into your Outlook email directly through a web browser to see if the verification email shows up there? Sometimes the app doesn't sync properly. If it’s still not showing, check if your Outlook account has any filters or rules that might be moving emails to another folder.
