One of my friends sent me this video. They spoofed it up but it is based on actual events. It has a sad ending. But, up until that, it is funny as heck. If you need a good laugh, today, here it is.

You can't make some of this stuff up. Unbelievable. I liked the line about not learning dolphin instead of trying to teach them English. You wouldn't pull a man from Japan off the streets, introduce him to LSD, jerk him off every day, hoping he'd speak English. NASA made a bad call in not learning the way dolphins communicate. In all of this time, they haven't accomplished that.

Government dollars at work. Kidnap dolphins, get them stoned and teach them to speech English. Did they take into account that dolphins don't have vocal cords? When you run the math, that was a 10 million dollar study in today's dollars.

They probably didn't try. It is all about the scientist getting grant money. They don't care whether or not their studies improve mankind. It could have monumental if humans could understand dolphin speak. We could have turned them into foreign spies.
