Personally I never liked or trusted RFK Jr. and I still don't....

Putting aside his well known heroin addiction and his absolutely outrageous shenanigans as a youth, my reason for never liking him has to do with the entire Martha Moxley/Michael Skakel situation....

You know, when RFKS cousin bashed a 15 year old girls head in with a golf club.

Where he used his political influence in CT. (Which he has plenty of) to get his cousins conviction overturned....Since I am from this neck of the woods, I have very strong feelings about this...

But this video by his cousin Caroline (JFKS daughter) takes the cake.... She literally destroys him.....Accusing him of being a "predator" and of Putting Chickens and Mice in a blender...Just for kicks.....

RFK "also led his siblings and cousins down a path of addiction and destruction, which led to the death of a few of them"

This is ALL true btw....

"RFK cheated his way through life, exploiting the deaths of his uncle and own father for his own personal gain".......

https://www.cnn.com/2025/01/28/politics/caroline-kennedy-cousin-rfk-jr-letter-senators/index.html

He is never going to get confirmed....And for the record I am NOT going to take advice about "healthy living" from an ex heroin addict....Nope, not gonna do it.....But that is just me...

Other than this, Trump is doing an outstanding job during his first week...Although I would like to see him removing 15,000-20,000 Illegals per day instead of the 1500 that he was shooting for....

Anytime the Kennedy clan is against someone is a good sign they are trying to do something good.

I am still NOT taking advice about healthy living from a heroin addict who put baby chickens and Mice in a blender....

Nor am I taking advice from a family who's entire wealth came from boootlegging liquor and stock manipulation....But that's just me.

They have to get rid of Sanctuary Cities and prosecute anyone who interferes with federal law to push that number. I applaud him for sending a lot of them to Gitmo.

It is a slim percentage of heroine addicts that recover. I respect that he has. I've been clean for 20 years. It was hell and back to kick cocaine and pills. I don't know anyone else in the 90 day state sponsored rehab that made it through for the long haul. I'm not much for self congratulation but it says a lot about drive and character to get through that self imposed hell.

Let me repeat:

I am still NOT taking how to advice for healthy living from a heroin addict....I can't simplify this better....

I don't believe one word from any Kennedy....They have all lived a pampered and spoiled existence on this earth....Its a damn shame that the public has turned this family into American Royalty...

When all they do is lie, steal and pillage....

Btw,

I have studied this family my entire life and have read everything I could get my hands on regarding the Kennedys and all of their offspring...

Caroline (who I don't like either) was right on the money regarding her cousin RFK JR.....He was an awful/evil human being in his younger years.. I am not giving him a pass now just because he is using his stance against Covid Vaccinations for power.....

His father used poor Black People for power too...

Understood. I'm only pointing to the past drug addiction and how it applies to now. As a recovered addict myself I can't judge him for a serious problem that he overcame. If I had to guess, it is 1 in 100,000 drug addicts that fully recover. I thank God every day that I was one of few. Statistically speaking, I should have been dead a long time ago.

I applaud you.....But it's not really the heroin addiction that bothers me...By all accounts (from several family members) RFK was an evil/twisted person during his younger years....

We all fuck up, but he did things that that average person would never do... He also ruined the lives of several of his siblings.

For the record, you are not going out and telling people they can't eat Captain Crunch because it's bad for you...He is..

If I wanna enjoy a bowl of Captain Crunch once in awhile then I will...

You know more about the Skankel case than I do. So, please, correct me if I'm wrong. Wasn't the case that Kennedy helped him out in over whether his sentence should have been based on his age at the time of the crime? I'm not saying that gives me any sympathy for Skankel. Committing a violent murder of that nature, at any age, disqualifies that person from being safe to be in society...at least, in my book. I don't like that he stepped in to help. But, I remember it being a case about the letter of the law. Along those lines, I cringe when he talks highly of his Uncle Ted. I wish a reporter would ask him about that.

As far as his views of the quality of American's food and the corrupt relationship between the FDA and Monsanto, I love it. I've waited a very long time to see a person of influence point out the corruption of the FDA. I don't want the government to tell people what they can and cannot eat. But, there should be clear ingredient lists and labels for GMO's. Food companies are very tricky when it comes to hiding carcinogens and a host of other very bad things. FoodBabe.net is a great resource for specific items pertaining to processed foods and fast food. A good number of chains have eliminated harmful ingredients when she exposed them.

School lunches is an important for me. Michelle Obama took that on as her pet project and made it worse than before. They should be home cooked, yummy and healthy. They should also be free to the children in impoverished districts, along with a good breakfast. When I say a good breakfast, I mean eggs that are made on a grill in the cafeteria, homemade oatmeal and fresh fruit type breakfast. We don't need processed foods in schools. The kids would love it. Imagine one of those big machines that you feed oranges into it and it makes freshly squeezed juice. if there is one thing we can do for children in a bad situation it is feed and educate them.

While vaccinations are far from the only health related issue I care about, it is also important. People should be informed.

Re: Skakel

The Connecticut Supreme Court overturned Skakel's conviction in 2018, after he had served more than 11 years in prison, saying his defense lawyer failed to present evidence of an alibi. A state prosecutor announced in 2020 that Skakel would not be put on trial again and the murder charge was dropped.Jan 3, 2024

Now Skakel has filed a lawsuit against the Cop in Greenwich and several others..

RFK Jr. Had a ton of political muscle in the State of CT to help make this happen....He was on tv, especially local news constantly pushing for Skakels release...I remember all of it....

Martha Moxleys mother and brother were helpless against this political machine....

I also personally met a few of the neighbors/friends of Martha (they are much older now) from the that Belle Haven neighborhood (most of them still live there) and they all believed it was Michael and not his brother Tommy....

Re: Food choices

I agree that a lot of the food on grocery shelves is bad....But I am still NOT going to be ordered what not eat from RFK...

He is using this topic for political gain in my opinion...Here was a guy who was injecting himself with poison for 2 decades and now he is telling us how bad Fruit loops are...There is something wrong with this picture..

These politicians are all the same...Do as I say but not as I do..

And if I want to enjoy a bowl of Captain Crunch or Trix Cereal then I will in moderation...Because they both taste great..

He broke rank with the Kennedy clan. That is why they are attacking him. I agree with you on food. I'd never let my kids eat sugary cereal. It should be taken off the EBT list of approved welfare foods. But, if a self supporting adult wants it, more power to them.

Thanks for explaining this. I don't remember what hard evidence there was. It is difficult to prove a crime long after the fact. But, what an unimaginably horrific thing for a family to go through. If Skankel did it, which to my recollection, everything points to, I hope he dies a long horrible death and burns in hell.

As for food, it is my understanding that Kennedy isn't ordering what anyone chooses to eat or not eat. Our country has very unhealthy food compared to most first world countries. Most of that is due to bribery, greed and kick backs. Unnecessary ingredients that are egregiously harmful should be banned. GMO food should have a simple label. If people want to smoke cigarettes, they can. There is just a warning label. I agree that no politian should be telling us what to eat. Just look at the food pyramid. What a joke. There is a reason that the US has an astonishingly high level of childhood disease. I'd like to see it solved without a dictator lording over our food. Btw, it doesn't stop with food either. Hygiene products, cleaning agents, ect are full of poison too.

I went to healthy eating decades ago. I don't even drink milk any more. But, now and then, I think about Cookie Crisp or Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I liked cereal a little soggy so I'd let it linger in the milk for a little while.

I agree with you about how bad the food is....I actually watch everything I eat too...I usually pay special attention to the sodium and sugar contents..

On the other hand, I do belong to a nice gym club and work out almost everyday....So I keep myself in good physical condition...The place I go to has everything including a gigantic pool (which I do pool aerobics), a steam room, dry sauna, rock climbing, basketball courts and everything else you can imagine under the sun....

It's not like I eat Captain Crunch everyday but I do enjoy a huge bowl of it once in a while.....I also probably eat Pizza once a week (which I am not giving up)...... But most days I avoid sugar because that is a killer....

But if you are actively working out an hour and half a day you should be fine and eat what you want....

I also haven't had a soda in 15 years at least....The secret is water and a ton of it....It flushes everything out...

I also find that the wet steam room combined with the dry sauna and swimming for an hour works wonders on your entire body...

I also do Cyrotherapy in one of those chambers for 3 minutes a day....It works wonders...

That sounds like an awesome gym. There is one similar to what you describe in South Florida. I loved it because of the unlimited workout classes. That, alone, paid for the membership.

Pizza is carb and calorie heavy but, made with good ingredients, it is not bad for anyone. It is ironic that you mention pizza because I was going to send you a PM about something that I recently learned. Columbus, Ohio and New Haven, CT., were the first to use pepperoni as a topping. It was in the 50's. I was surprised that it wasn't sooner. I don't eat pizza often, mainly because I want to make everything I eat myself. I've been researching beyond the documentaries that I've come across and the one on New Haven that you sent to me. This summer, when I hope to be fully recovered from my injuries, I'm setting up a nice outdoor pizza oven and going to town with it. On a side note, you might be interested to know that Central, Ohio has amazing pizza. I grew up here, just taking it for granted. In all of the states I've traveled to or lived in, I've never come across such good pizza. Giving more thought to it, I've come to realize that it is because of Italian immigrants that settled here, much like New Haven.

As for Kennedy Jr., my impression is that he wants to ban things like red dye and other harmful ingredients that are unnecessary and not allowed in most first world countries. The US and New Zealand are the only sophisticated countries that allow GMO's. When you look at the ingredients on something as simple as a bottle of ketchup, the US has something like 30 of them. Other countries, even with the same brand, have more like 6. There is no reason for fructose corn syrup in nearly everything. It is insane. So, I'm optimistic he doesn't lord over us but cuts out the corruption and kick backs that got us here.

Cyrotherapy? I'd love to know more about your experience with that. I tried the oxygen chambers but was so catastrophic that I couldn't get through the 30 minute session. Now that I have more of a need for my body to heal, I should revisit that. I will look into Cyrotherapy too. When I can finally get back to my primary home in Tennessee, I get in my infrared sauna. It is amazing for detoxing the body of heavy metals and healing both internally and externally. From what you describe, they probably have a few at your gym.

This is Mark Wahlberg using the exact same machine I use.....You only stay in the machine for 3 minutes and the temperature is -220 degrees below zero when you get in.....

I go to a different place for this because No gym would carry something like this....You go in with shorts, socks, fur lined crocs and no shirt for men. Plus gloves and I wear a hat, mask...Exactly what Mark is wearing.

You do the infrared sauna immediately after....

You can lose up to 800-1000 calories with one session throughout the day because it speeds up your metabolism....

You feel incredible after using it but it can be scary on your first time...

I swear by it.

The girl stands outside the unit while you are in there.. Usually we play trivia that she reads off cards to make the 3 minutes go by faster....It's a blast..

That is intense. I've never tried that one. -220 degrees could be too much for me, even for 3 minutes. I'm freezing just thinking about it. My go to of late has been hydrotherapy. It is tranquil but intense in the way that you are in a pitch black box with it a lid on it, floating in water. When I'm not up for a session or it's not in the budget, it is a good fix.

There are 3 levels.....

Level 1 -160 below zero

Level 2 - 200 below zero

Level 3 -220 below zero... It took me about 5 weeks to get here..

I was nervous in the beginning too, thinking I would die...But after you do it once you will see that you won't die.....

After you get out, your body will feel incredible....

The three minutes goes fast when the girl reads off the trivia questions to me.....Some people prefer music.....

Btw,

There is a gigantic difference when you go from -160 below zero to -220 below zero....No joke...

I have an unlimited membership at the place I go to which is a great deal....If you just pay per session it will cost a lot...

Here is another clip with a Dr. Explaining all the benefits.

That is wild. I read a little about it. It makes me want to check it out. When you were talking about building up to the optimal temperature, it reminded me of what my introduction to the infrared sauna was like. It took several sessions for it to become enjoyable instead of torturous.

The place I go to has an infrared sauna that you can use immediately after.... I am lucky enough to also have an infrared sauna in my house...

I am into all this shit...

My real gym has a gigantic pool, wet steam room and hot dry sauna...

There is nothing like a steam room to detox....

So If I wanna enjoy pizza or Captain Crunch once in awhile I don't feel guilty...

There is a huge difference between an infrared sauna and a regular hot sauna.....They are both good for you but if you mix in the Cyrotherapy chamber you are doing wonders for your body....
