Kids pick on other kids. That is the way it is. We all learned to deal with it. But, in this case, it looks as if a group of males beat up a biological female to the point of hospitalization. The male teens who did this should be charged for assault. Maybe they already have been. Even a hate crime charge would appear to be appropriate. Why should anyone else care how someone wants to dress?

It is a very tragic situation. But, if you read up on what is fully reported, the trans teenager was the one to instigate the fight. He/She/They/Them...whatever this teenager wanted to be refereed to was with a group of biological females, dressed as males in a boys bathroom. A group of teenage boys laughed but did not confront them. The young person who the media is claiming was bullied, confronted the boys by pouring water on them. I completely agree that a group of biological males beating a biological female was horrible. It was inexcusable, regardless of who provoked it. The full story isn't out yet. Did the trans teen's friends run out, yelling for help? Did any of them try to stop it? Was it a 5 on 1 fight or 1 on 1? The teen is said to have overdosed on Prozac and Benadryl. To be prescribed Prozac, this young person must have been dealing with mental health issues. At this point, blaming this young person's death on bullying is a stretch and appears to be politically motivated. It is sad, all the way around. But, bullying? Hate crime? It doesn't appear that way, at this point.
