Did anyone here about the recent event of a 30 year old man attacking an 11 year old girl with a box cutter. They were able to get him off of her before she suffered irreversible injuries. The dude had 20 prior convictions, including physical assault. Earlier that same very same day, he punched a stranger in the face, completely unprovoked. It isn't clear if he was arrested for that and let go or got off with a warning. This stories have gotten to be common place. Yet, New Yorkers getting voting for liberals. New York Post has a good write up but there is a lot of them out there.

I left the city about 5 years ago. I miss it for what it was in it's splendor. Giuliani cleaned things up. But, he was a kill joy in other ways.

NOT that it matters at this point, but Giuliani closed down the Harmony Theater on Church Street, a place that an old married man could go to to, get his rocks-off inexpensively with some great looking, friendly women, and yet still believe/maintain that he isn't REALLY CHEATING on his spouse. Replacement places in NJ raise the ante by a factor of as much as 10 for FAR LESS satisfaction!

You may not agree, but I believe he's got a WHOLE LOT coming his way for his Election 2020 escapades.

Still trying to figure out WHAT awakened so many Palestinian sympathizers after the HAMAS October 7, Israel tragedy.

As a Veteran, I'm still trying to understand why/how my Vietnam Era brethren could have been so badly treated by my fellow citizenry NONSTOP . . .

Also, since I went through it myself, I'm of the opinion that a year in the U.S. Military, could only help, and would not hurt anyone!

The city was less fun when it came to options for horny fetish driven men. But, it was safe. I would still be there if it was like it was then. I miss the city but no way I was keeping my family there. We don't even go back to visit.

Losing a brothel over people getting assaulted, in broad daylight, is a minor inconvenience. Actor, Steve Buscemi, was attacked in Manhatten a few days ago. Every day, it is something else with NYC. The perpetrator, when caught, is always found to have a long list of priors. It is looking like Kurt Russle's move, Escape from New York, come true. Adams should be recalled.

Did anyone see the video where a young man comes out of no where and tries to mug a couple walking their dog? The couple beat him down. The man wants to take this punk on further but the punk pleads and runs off. NYC needs gun laws that are friendly to law abiding citizens, more cops on the streets and laws that send these thugs off to Gitmo. The loser, who is probably a drug addict will strike again but be more careful to pick a vulnerable target. Way to go Dims. Every city they control has turned to shit.

NYC may be the worst. But, crime is a problem with a lot of big cities.I was born and raised in Chicago. I have a condo in the burbs but can be in the city in 30 minutes. It is heart breaking to see what has happened to Chicago. My girlfriend and I talk about moving away. maybe even weighing our options with other states as for the cost of living, crime rate and the presence of a lifestyle scene. We are both in occupations that we'll find good jobs anywhere. The hold back is we have so many friends in Chicago. Oh, waaa, poor me. I should be grateful that I have the ability to move if it comes to it.
