Did Matt Gaetz just get away with that allegation of bringing teen girls across state lines? Guess that just magically disappeared... I know there is/was an ongoing ethic investigation. Just asking.

I agree with you.. And trust me I am totally happy Trump won....

I am just looking 5 miles down the road (as always) regarding Matt Gaetz....Only because I know he has that teen sex thing hanging over his head with the DOJ....

So when I heard this nomination news my first thought was how the HELL is Trump gonna get this guy confirmed......

As far as Trump going after his enemies, I am the first one to say GET ALL OF THOSE MOTHER FUCKERS....And bury them...

I am just worried about these swamp bastards controlling the Senate and House.....They just made this Bastard Thune the Senate Majority leader...And I sure as Hell dont trust the Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.....

As far as Gaetz goes, he is definately mad dog crazy enough to go after all of them....But getting confirmed is the real problem..

Thats why I want Ken Paxton the AG from Texas..

Here is a little tidbit I found re: Gaetz....



The House Ethics Committee, which has been investigating allegations that Matt Gaetz engaged in sexual misconduct and illicit drug use, was prepared to vote to release a highly critical report about Gaetz on Friday, according to a Republican official familiar with the matter. The release would have come two days after Trump selected Gaetz to be attorney general.
Gaetz abruptly resigned from his House seat late Wednesday, effectively ending the ethics investigation that has hung over his head for years.

So my thinking is that something just isnt right with Trumps pick for Gaetz as AG.....I could be wrong but why would Trump pick a person that has about as much chance of getting confirmed as a snowball in Hell?

Everybody I know is thrilled to death that Trump won...Actually they are jumping for joy...... Rightfully so.....I was even talking to a Democrat Trump hating friend yesterday and he even admitted that the economy is going to be great once again..

I'm not a fan of Gaetz because he likes to showboat, which is obnoxious. I hate it when congress or senate holding a hearing and basically tell off the person they are supposed to be questioning. He also strikes me as a cheesy career politian. I was stunned when Trump picked him.

As for Gaetz's accusations, I thought they were bs. He was dating a woman who was a few months from being 18 years old. Maybe he knew her age and maybe he didn't. But, at 17 she was old enough to make up her own mind. Sex trafficking is a term that is thrown around frivolously at times. She and Gaetz went on a vacation together. I call a big so what on that one.

So basically because Gaetz resigned 2 days before this damaging report was to be released the committe has no jurisdiction and cant release it now..

So something is fishy here....

My guess is that Trump did Gaetz a favor (knowing he cant get confirmed) because Gaetz went to bat for Trump a million times..
