I am a big fan of gags of just about all types. The Dommes I have sessioned with (Pro & Personal) have a strong dislike for excessive whining or pleading and will move to quickly gag me if I am becoming too vocal. I also think a gag is an important part of a heavy bondage scene, which is usually a huge part of any play session for me. Being gagged exacerbates the loss of control and helps take me to a deeper level of submission which allows me to play harder and take more. I think being gagged also increases the sense of objectification, enabling the Domme to see me less as a person and more as an object to be used however she chooses. Even the drooling created by a more extreme gag adds to that same feeling of objectification.
I think my first really strong affinity for gags started with Mistress Troy Orleans who gagged me using a dildo gag that was attached to a pole in her dungeon. Once the gag was securely fashioned, the gag served to not only silence me but to also keep my head exactly still and attached to the pole while she turned her attention to other parts of my body. Another favorite is an inflatable gag which the Domme can make more secure and more uncomfortable as she feels appropriate for the session.
