I dont really know too much about this Rick Scott guy from Florida....

I remember you posting a few times that you didnt like him.

Whats his story? I know he was the governor of Florida but is he just another POS?

I am asking because he is in the running for Senate Majority Leader against two real pieces of shit Coryn and Thune...

I am just wondering how bad Rick Scott is since you are familar with Florida....

I know Rubio is a pathetic creature for the most part...I think Desantis is too and I still believe he is controlled by the Bush Family...

To me, Scott sounds like another shady character....

It also sounds like Trump is going to have the same problems within his party as the last go around......(ie: Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell back stabbing him every step of the way)

Scott didn't do nearly as much for the environment as he should have. I'm talking about basic things, nothing extreme. But, what really made me think he is a total scum bag that puts his career ambitions over his the people he is paid to represent happened after the Parkland shooting. The sheriff, Scott Israel, was a walking joke. There have been many discussions on this over the years so I don't list them all again. They were enough for the people of Parkland to take out a bill board calling for him to resign and his own union casting a no confidence vote. Scott did nothing because he was eyeing a senate run. He was a governor in name only his last year. One of the first thing that DeSantis did when he took office was to give Israel the boot.

There are so many better choices than Scott. It is probably slim pickings when it comes people with integrity who are in politics. Scott may well be supportive of Trump the next four years. It wouldn't surprise me if he was. I just think he's a selfish creep.

You hit the nail on the head when you say few politicians with integrity. I can’t think of any. Maybe Vance whose book I liked but the book is all I know of him. what do you think of him?

Fwiw I was hoping Desantis was going to be the Republican nominee when the primaries started just because I thought he could win and Trump couldn’t. I’m glad I was wrong because 4 years of Harris would have been disastrous for freedom and the constitution in this country.

Vance's stance that people with children should "Have a louder voice" didn't sit well with me. Keep in mind, I have six children and am very much involved in my grandchildren's lives. Yet, I do not believe my vote should count any more than someone who does not have children. The cat lady remark, which have been funny if a late night talk host had said it, irked me too. Throughout the election, he has gained some of my confidence with how quick he thinks on his feet and, other than the above, was well spoken. He did very well in the interviews that I saw. I still wish the VP spot had gone to someone else but, in the scope of things, it may not matter.

If DeSantis hadn't of jumped the gun on a bid for the presidency and supported Trump, it is likely he would have been the VP pick. What I really wanted was a Trump/Kennedy Jr. ticket. Moving forward, there are going to be bumps in the road but with Musk and Kennedy Jr. on board, I am cautiously optimistic. If we take the house, even more so.

As far as picks go, DeVos, Trump's do nothing Secretary of Education, said she'd be open to returning to that position. That is cringe worthy. He's talking about getting rid of the need for that position and turning it over to the states. So, maybe that is a moot point.

Ok, so it was the Parkland thing....

I am just keeping track of which Republican scumbags are going to screw Trumps agenda this time...

And of course Trump is going to back this bastard Scott for the Senate Majority Leader...(an extremely important position)

My judgement about people is usually pretty good and he does seem like a self promoting piece of shit...I just havent paid close attention to his Governors record...

Btw,

I should know better anyways. If he is one of the 535 then I probably answered my own question...Because there isnt a single one of them that is good....Not one.

I dare anybody to give me one good one out of the 535. They are ALL self promoting scumbags....

Even the ones you think are good are bad too...

Re: Trumps deporting of Illegals

He should deport every member of Congress too. Then the people can have their country back for real....That would be Making America Great Again.

In a moment of crisis, Scott revealed himself for who he is: A man who will put his own best interest above his constitutes, even in the darkest hour. He sold out to the sugar cane industry before than and who knows what else. Like most of them, Scott will stand by Trump unless it is advantageous for him not to. None of it is about doing the right thing for most of these people. They see the right thing to do as what is right for themselves.

I don't know much about Scott except for what has been shared here. Is there someone you would have suggested instead? It has all become such a joke.

It is all a joke...

Here is my suggestion...Trump should just arrest every member of congress and become a Dictator.....

Give me one good reason why we need any member of Congress...

These people have NEVER "worked for the people" in fact they all work against the people...

I could see them all killing Trump by a thousand paper cuts the same as they did last time....Some of the names and faces may have changed (ie: no more McConnell or Romney) but their game still remains the same....They are all out for themselves at our expense...

So intead of McConnell you will get one of his henchmen Thume or Coryn....And Scott seems pathetic too.

Btw,

People have short memories. Republicans had control of all 3 branches of Government in 2016 too. All the GOP backstabbers did was screw Trump over every chance they got....

Looks like they have control of all 3 now too..

The Mike Johnson has to go...He cannot be reelected as House Speaker....He was literally campaining for people who voted for Trumps impeachment....

This sounds like a plot for a fictional movie. I'm with you in spirit. But, in actuality, that could never and should not be. I do hope Trump stays tough and comes through with his promises. It will be tough if the DNC takes the house. They just stole Arizona.

Aside from the dictator part, I agree with you. My hope for the next four years is that Trump is bold, doesn't back down and straightens up the mess this country has become. What do you think of Hormon for the Boarder Czar? He is one tough cookie who knows the border well. Rubio for Secretary of State...meh...we'll see how does. There will be a few bad apples in his picks but, overall, I'm hopeful. Imagine how all of the people yapping about the second coming of hitler will feel when illegal immigration is under control, the economy & cost of living thrive, crime rate goes down and this country is thriving again. He's going to hit a lot of bumps in the road and the Democrats will try to stop him at every turn. Americans are already seeing the lies MSM has been telling them on behalf of the DNC.

Tom Homan and Steven Miller are good guys, so is Lee Zeldin..

But I notice he is picking one career politician after another again to fill posts...

So far he picked Rubio, Noem, Walz and several others...

It just doesnt sound like draining the swamp... And Rubio is a known back stabber...Not to mention Trump backs this Mike Johnson and Rick Scott to lead both the house and senate... Both are complete back stabbers....

Maybe I am nitpicking but I always try to look 5 miles down the road..

He picked Noem? That makes me sick to my stomach. I share the same feelings you have on career politicians but that is mainly what there is to work with for certain positions. Hopefully, Musk and Kennedy Jr. will be helpful in spotting trouble. The first term, it was like everyone, even the woman he brought in who had been on The Apprentice not only stabbed him in the back but went in with the intentions of doing so.

Yeah he just made Noem the Homeland Security Chief..Maybe he can put her on top of the border wall with a shotgun.. We know she knows how to use it.

She is also a complete bought and paid for RINO. She is friends with and supports the king of Rinos S.D. Senator John Thune...(Mitch McConnells puppet) She is trouble..

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/11/trump-taps-south-dakota-gov-kristi-noem-as/

We will see about Musk. Personally I never liked or trusted him. I still dont. Yeah lets put the richest man on earth in charge of all the money...

There is something sinister about Musk.

As far as RFK goes, at least our food will be better...He is actually 100% correct about all the poison they put in every food item. I will just have to forget about the fact that he used his political influence in CT to get his convicted murderer cousin out of prison..

I will have to forget Martha Moxley too I guess.

Btw,

We have about 370 million people living in this country. Some of us are pretty smart...Are the 535 members of Congress the best we have to offer?

Seriously, are AOC and Bernie the best and brightest? How about Maxine Waters and Lauren Boebert?

Is this all we have? Then we are in trouble.

Ha! I was going to rib Cheyenne about being careful what you wish for. She wanted someone tough in charge of Homeland. Well, she's got it. No would dare bring their dog with them anyway.

The political alliances, dirty business and all that shit that goes on with politicians in secrecy, at least there will be a shift in goals. How that works out for us, who knows. I'm watching the house right now. Any time it takes this long to count the votes, you know something is up. They are trying to steal it. The Democrats will block Trump every step of the way.

I like Musk. He doesn't come across greedy or dishonest, to me, in the slightest. I can be wrong about that but, it is the feeling I get about him.

When it comes to Kennedy Jr., I love that he's on board. Yes, he is spot on about our food. We are one of 2 countries that allow GMO in our food. I am looking forward to him going after the FDA and their cushy relationship with Monsanto. It bothers me too that he helped Skankle and gushes over his uncle Teddy. I've wanted to see how he would answer these things in an interview but he was never asked. Surprising. All that same, I will take him in the WH over what he have to choose from. He's also an incredibly intelligent man.

I still cringe that Trump is associating himself with Noem at all. But, yes, I did want someone tough in charge of Homeland Security, just someone who is also stable.

Long term, something needs to be done about elections that days or even weeks to count.

Do you know who else "gushes over uncle Teddy" ? Trump does non stop...

Well it looks like Trump has filled most of his cabinet with the rich and famous...

Lets see:

For Defense Secretary he picked a Fox News Host

For Ambassador to Israel he picked a Newsmax news host.

For Homeland Security Chief he picked a completely unqualified Person who shoots her own dogs...

For the person in charge of watching over all our money he picked the richest man on earth....

For Secretary of State he picked an original member of the gang of 8.. (Allows illegals to become citizens) Someone he bashed as "little Marco"

I wonder what position he is gonna give Hulk Hogan?

Or how about Sean Hannity? (Minister of propaganda would suit Hannity)

Btw,

I am sure there will be another cushy-money-making position for his son in law Jared. He already gave Tiffanys father in law a cushy position..

And when Rubio leaves his Senate position he will probably have DeSantis replace him with Laura Trump...

P.S.

I wonder if his new CIA director John Ratcliff is going to be upfront and honest with us and release the JFK files, Epstein files and every other file?

Or is he going to jerk us around too?

Trump gushes about Ted Kennedy? That is very sad to hear.

I don't care if he gave positions to the rich and famous. I care about the job they do.

Let's see how he does this time around. Kennedy Jr. wants the files released. Trump has agreed and already knows what is in them. Last time, it seemed, came as a shock and cabinet members talked him out of it.

I am cautiously hopeful. As you've said it yourself, Trump is much better than the alternative.

Yes Trump brags about how he was great friends with Ted Kennedy. Many times he has mentioned this. He also mentioned that Teddy told him that Biden was the dumbest senator....

Re: The files.

Trump agreed to release them last time too but he didnt.

"Trump already knows whats in them"

I highly doubt that...All he knows is Mike Pompeo (his back stabbing CIA director) begged and pleaded with him not to order the release of the JFK files because the people would go nuts and riot.

I guarantee that Trump wasnt allowed to read them either...

Yes I am glad Trump won and I am cautiously optimistic...

However, and I will say this again for about the hundredth time...Trump has a fascination with famous/wealthy people.

He wants to be accepted by them... He also has a terrible habit of wanting to be accepted and loved by the political class..

Its a bad trait.

Now he is going to meet with Biden today to put on a show..

At least his wife Melania said Fuck That when she turned down the lunch with Jill Biden....She is understandably still pissed that Joe Biden had the FBI go through her underwear drawers....

Btw,

If Trump knew what was in the JFK files then he would have damn well mentioned it at one of his 300 rallies...Especially after what they did to him...That is how I know that Trump was NOT allowed to read them either..

The CIA are like their own separate government and they should never be trusted....That whole agency is in the MURDER business...
